100th Day Take-Home Project

Last year I had my students complete a 100 Days Take-Home Project:

I was scheduled for parent/teacher conferences on our 100th Day so I was BUMMED I could not do my traditional 'make and wear something with '100 things' on it.

You can read all about my usual '100 Day Fun' HERE!

I had done '100 collections' before but they always seem to cause drama or heartache is a favorite toy, sticker, etc goes missing!

SO, I decided to make their 100 Day project somewhat similar YET still allowed for creativity!

As you can see I got many different interpretations!

About 2 weeks prior to our 100th Day I sent home a note explaining the project, a copy of the gumball machine base and a 12x18 piece of white construction paper:

Many chose not to use the construction paper, but I wanted to provide it in case a family didn't have the means to get a piece large enough!

As the projects came in the students explained what they used and how they made it and then it got displayed outside.

I did have a handful of children not return the project and I gave them the option of making one at my back table during indoor recess so that they didn't feel left out!

If you would like to do this project, I have included the letter and gumball machine base in this FREE DOWNLOAD!

Want to make the 100th Day even sweeter?
Here is a fun treat to send them home with:
It is FREE in my TpT Store!

And speaking of Teachers Pay Teachers...

  2. These projects and activities make students more creative and they can get many ideas for doing things differently. However, students of universities may get stuck in projects like MBA or dissertation but they can choose MBA assignment help Dubai to complete it.

  3. These creative and intellectual activities are important for students as they help in critical thinking. My son's school also helps them with these sort of activities and they also call parents so they can judge where their child is lacking, but as a law student in a university it was difficult for me to go but it was also necessary so I had to hire law dissertation writers from Dissertation Help Services so I may be able to go at the activity of my son's school.

  4. It is more important that I take my online exam than completing my 100th take home project. A good planning and time management will balance the two effectively. Conversely, my academic performance must be maintained at all costs, which is why taking this online exam is very important to me as it also requires a lot of creativity and hard work on my part. My responsibilities can be adequately addressed by being organized and giving them priority. The best method of preparing for the online test therefore involves using study materials and mock exams that enable me excel in academics even when the project is ongoing.

  5. What a creative and fun 100th day take-home project! I love how engaging it is for the students. It's great to see such interactive activities that make learning enjoyable. For anyone looking to enhance classroom projects like this, Google tools are incredibly helpful. Google Docs and Google Slides can be perfect for collaborating and sharing project ideas, while Google Drive makes organizing everything so much easier. If you’re looking for more resources, google is a great place to start! Thanks for sharing this fantastic project idea—I’m sure the kids will love it!
