And now it's time for FREAKY FRIDAY to return!
It's hard to believe this is the 5th year this promotion is running!

If you have followed me for the past four years, you might remember that each October I join a group of sellers to offer $1 Deals each Friday in October!
AND...we have decided to 'get freaky' again this year!
AND...we have decided to 'get freaky' again this year!
Here is how it works:
Each Friday the participating sellers will select one product from their store (normally priced $3-$5) to mark down to just $1 for the day!
How will you find these products?
There are a few ways!
4. Click the links to the participating stores in the linky at the end of this post and it will take you directly to that store's $1 deal for the day (it will be updated each week to the new product)!
You can also click the first link- it will bring you to all the $1 deals of the day!
So what will you find from me this week?
My Sight Word Center Pack has been pretty popular, but with this set you'll be able to add in some Fall Fun to your word work center and reading instruction!
There are 15 'read, build, write & draw' printables and 15 one page books in this set for the following sight words:
I, a, see, like, my, to, the, go, we, is, look, you, will, said, have
It is normally $4.50...but on Friday October 5th, as part of 'Freaky Friday,' it will be discounted to just $1!
Having the option of using sentence/word frames or not is perfect for differentiating your small group/center instruction! I also use the frames in the beginning of the year when we are working on 1:1 correspondence...as the year goes on I start offering the printables without the frames.
How Do I Use Them In My Classroom?
These are one of my 'staple centers' EVERY week!
*I print the printable and book for the word we are working on that week.
*Students read the sentence (using the touch dots), cut out the words, build the sentence (I have them build and check it before gluing), write the sentence and then draw a picture to match it (sometimes they draw on the back).
*After they finish the printable, they take one of the books. They find the 'target word' on each page and circle or use a highlighter.
*They read the book 3 times (I have them put a check on the cover each time they read) and then color the book.
*They bring it home and read to a grown-up. If they bring the book back with an adult's signature they get to pick a prize!
*I encourage parents to keep the books (and our sight word readers we complete each week) in a shoebox at home to build fluency!
This pack is NO PREP! Simply download, print and copy!
They help review sight words and build reading fluency and confidence in our youngest readers!
Use them in centers, for guided reading/small group instruction, reading buddies, early finishers, enrichment and/or remediation, independent practice and more!
