Christmas in July....Brought To You By 4 Of Santa's Elves!

Merry Christmas...In July!

I am so excited to be teaming up with 3 other teacher-author-blogger buddies to bring you a fabulous day of festive fun!

Friday July 25th is...

Santa has hand selected me, Kourtney Payton of Mrs. Payton's Precious Kindergarteners, Laura Schachter of Differentiation Station Creations and Brenda Tejeda of Tejeda's Tots to head up his team of reindeer that are packing the sleigh with sweet sales, games galore, fabulous freebies and dollar deals!

I have hyperlinked their names to all of our Facebook pages!  That is where we will post the games, deal announcements, winners and more!  We will start as soon as we have our hot cocoa in the am and go all day till the candy canes are licked clean and the reindeer bells are hung back in the barn!

Here is the picture of the day's 'line up' although don't be surprised if we sneak in some extra fun!  Elves are known to be quite mischievous!

Monday Markdown- July 14th!

Just another Manic Monday....so that means it's time for...

with Kelly & Kim's Kindergarten Kreations!

Last week I offered my Interactive Notebook A to Z pack as the marked down goodie and it was well received!  Seems like a lot of people are looking to jump onto the Interactive Notebook wagon with the younger kiddos!

So this week I decided to mark down my Interactive Notebook Seasonal Bundle!

It contains 8 packs that I have separately in my TPT Store.  If bought individually it would cost $43.50, but I have it bundled for $30!

My kinders LOVED working in their notebooks!

What I found most helpful was to put stick-on tabs in the book to designate areas for different curricula areas.

These are the ones I used.  I was able to cut them in half to get '2' for each tab.  They stuck on real well (even with kinder-pulling) and lasted all year! They stuck out enough past the pages/cover for the kids to easily find them!

For ex- we also went to the 'blue' section for ELA and 'red' section for math.  They were able to grab the tab, flip to that section and find the next blank page independently!  I used them for both ELA and math center activities, as well as for science and social studies!

I still have the yellow and green...I guess this year it will be green and yellow tabs!!

Markdown Monday- Week of July 7th!

I am coming off of a wonderful holiday weekend and am ready for...

with Kelly & Kim's Kindergarten Kreations!

Last year was the first year I used interactive notebooks with my kindergarteners and all I can say is WOW!  I have a blog post about using them that you can find here!
