If You Can Read This...THANK a Teacher!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
My mom was a first grade teacher for over 30 years and she had a shirt that read:

If You Can Read This, Thank A Teacher!

When I was little, I would read it, but had NO idea what it REALLY meant!
Now that I am a teacher I COMPLETELY understand!

So....let's thank some teachers by offering some incredible deals...and fun project ideas!

First, if you haven't already heard, Teachers Pay Teachers is offering a site-wide sale May 6th and May 7th!  Use Promo Code TPTXO for an additional 10% off!
Many sellers are offering 20% off, as well, so with the code you save 28%!
I am extending the sale in my store through May 8th!  So if you miss out on the site-wide sale, you can still save 20% on my goodies!

Better yet, do you have any products you purchased but have not left feedback for?  Go and do that...it earns you credits that you can use for future purchases!  For every 20 credits, you save $1.  It seems like its not much, but it does add up!  I was able to get an adorable clip art set for free today just by using credits!

I recently tried out 'lapbooking' and added a Mother's Day Lapbook, Father's Day Lapbook and End of Year Lapbook to my TpT store!

To sweeten the deal even more, I have teamed up with over 30 TPT author friends to offer one of my items for 50% off!!!
Simply type in teachersloveteachers into the TPT search engine (or click the hyperlink and/or picture) and a list of 37 50% off items will appear!

My 50% off item is my set of 8 Sea Animal Non-Fiction Foldable Emergent Readers!  Great for the end of year reading and prepping for summer fun!  You can also print them to send home with students as part of summer learning packs!

Try my Clown Fish one out for free and see if you like them!  If you do, the set of 8 will be $2.70 (when using TPT's code) through May 7th!

I purchased 2 great deals this morning- Okinanwan Girl's PreSchool Morning Work for my sons and K is for Kinderrific's Word Family Sorting Pack so that I can check my 'word work' center for next week off the 'to-do' list!

Speaking of End of the Year...
Educents has a great Summer Activities pack that is ending in 3 days!

If you use the code TEACH15 you get an additional 15% off your order...but wait...there's more!
Click this link to get a $5 off coupon!
So this amazing pack of 10 activities (valued at over $75) will go from $10.99 to $4.34!!!!
Click the picture or here to see details about the pack!

Knowing all about Teacher Appreciation means I had no excuse to not show my appreciation for my son's preschool teachers!
So all 8 of them (yes...8!!) will be getting this tomorrow:

Sooo... what is in this SWEET pack?
1 Plastic Tumbler
5 packs of Crystal Light Citrus Energy to-go packs
1 pack of Extra gum
1 magnetic note pad
1 Hershey bar (wrapped)

I purchased all the goodies at Dollar Tree and it came to about $4 per teacher (but doesn't it look like so much more?!)

Want to show your appreciation to a teacher you know?
You can make it real simple and just wrap a Hershey bar with the wrapper or go all out and make the gift cup!  In any case, to show my APPRECIATION, I am putting a link to get the wrapper and note for free right here:

Our PTA is providing use with a fabulous luncheon next Thursday to show their appreciation!  I am hoping your school/PTA does something similar!

And as you know...a teacher's job is never done!
So now its off to finish prepping for our Mother's Day tea party, make centers for next week, bake goodies for the party, make my homework menu, cut out laminate....oh the list goes on and on....
BUT...
I wouldn't change it for the world!
Being a teacher is one of the most amazing and rewarding jobs and I am thankful for the smiles, wonder and innocence that I am greeted with each and every day!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week..TO YOU!!! ;)
Until next post,

Kids may show their appreciation for their instructors by writing them a letter or email thanking them individually and expressing what unique experiences you had or loved the most about their teaching, as well as what they taught you that had or was the most influential/helpful to you.
